After three years Marvel Studios is preparing to return to San Diego Comic-Con this summer. In a virtual press conference for its upcoming feature Thor: Love and Thunder, Studios president Kevin Feige made that announcement.
According to some reports, he said “We’ll be at Comic-Con next month, which we’re excited about, so yes, we’re excited to go and talk about the future.”
The event got canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID. Although Comic-Con was held at the San Diego Convention Center on 2021Thanksgiving weekend.
Marvel did not hold any panels during the 2021 event and it does not participate in virtual Comic-Con@Home events July 2020 and 2021 conventions.
That projects are not disclosed by Marvel which it is going to tout at Comic-Con 2022. But we can expect its coming releases that could be teased at the convention including Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, The Marvels and Blade.
Upcoming TV projects include I Am Groot, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, Echo, Secret Invasion, Agatha: House of Darkness, Armor Wars, Ironheart, and X-Men ’97.
