This series is about a group of undervalued LGBT superspies and is centered on a gay secret agent who is like James Bond, Steve Marywhether, as they try to prove themselves on personal and professional adventures.

The series is distributed by NBC Universal Television Distribution. The production companies are Universal Television, Hazy Mills Productions, Fremulon, 3 Arts Entertainment, Titmouse, Inc.

  • Sean Hayes as Steve Maryweather, also known as Agent Mary, Steve was formerly part of the AIA before he came out as gay.
  • Gary Cole as Director Dirk Chunley, the director of the AIA who is straight and hard-nosed.
  • David Harbour as Agent Rick Buck, a straight agent brought into the Q-Force team after they become official spies.
  • Patti Harrison as Stat, a hacker who is part of the Q-Force and has a secret of her own.
  • Laurie Metcalf as the Deputy Director of the AIA, the highest-ranking woman in the agency, and has a soft spot for Mary.
  • Matt Rogers as Twink as a master in drag disguises, part of the Q-Force.
  • Wanda Sykes as Deb, a skilled mechanic, and lesbian, is part of the Q-Force and has a wife.
  • Gabe Liedman is Benji, a gay man who is the love interest Mary and is often in danger due to his closeness to the Q-Force.
