Her stage presence worsens as she messes up the crew’s new moves, causing everyone to get increasingly annoyed. The crew confronts Amalie, insisting that she drop from the tournament if she is unable to attend rehearsals. The world of professional dancing is a harsh place. Amalie must choose between Mikael’s love, her longing for her absent mother, and her passion for dance.
