After a roller coaster ride of seven seasons, CW’s Riverdale is now ready to wrap up the series. Riverdale has enjoyed a very strong fan base since the day it was launched. It has been very popular among its cable and Netflix viewers. The news of its cancellation will upset some of its viewers for sure.
In March, the Archie comic-based show was renewed for the seventh season along with the up-in-the-air series The Flash. Riverdale was released in the year 2017 for the first time. The show got its name in young adult programming at the time of its launch. The show was then released on Netflix in order to increase the audience and reach more viewers.

The show Riverdale features KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse, Madelaine Petsch, Mädchen Amick, Charles Melton, and Vanessa Morgan with Luke Perry playing the role of Fred Andrews, Archie’s father until he passed away in 2019.
Apart from these main actors, the series Riverdale also features a number of recurring and guest stars including Skeet Ulrich, Molly Ringwald, Mark Consuelos, Marisol Nichols, Kiernan Shipka, and Chad Michael Murray.
