It seems like the situation is not fantastic for the makers of the Harry Potter spinoff series, Fantastic Beasts as the third installment has managed this weekend just $3.9 million internationally.
The film is struggling to reach the $400 million mark worldwide. On the Domestic platform, the film has made an estimated $2.9 million this week (the fourth week of its release) which makes a total of $90 million.
The jury is worried if it is able to cross the $100 million or not. On the international market, the biggest territory is Japan with $33.4 million, and Germany with $28 million. However, in his home nation the U.K. it manages only $25.9 million.
Some reports are saying that the replacement of the Johhny Depp dwells on the interest of the viewers from Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.
However, Warner Bros. said that they will be waiting to check on the performance of Fantastic Beasts 3 before making any announcements about further films in the franchise.
