TV-Series Goliath Overview
In this series, Billy Mcbride is going through a rough patch. He has been fired from the law firm he helped build, his wife has left him, and he’s now a down on his luck ambulance chaser. A lady approaches him to represent her in a wrongful death case.
After reluctantly accepting to take on the case, a series of strange events befall Billy. Through death threats, harassment, and trumped-up arrests, Billy embarks on obtaining justice, and it is one hell of a ride. Additional unique cases eventually come Billy and Patty’s way, making the ride even more entertaining.
Season 1:
In season 1, Billy McBride is a washed-up lawyer who spends more time drinking than he does meeting his clients or with his estranged family. In the meantime, Cooperman McBride, the firm he helped found and build alongside Donald Cooperman, is now a Goliath bigger and more powerful than ever before.
Billy confronts Brittany who tells him that she did not have a choice but to testify. Michelle suspects that Cooperman had controlled Corey’s responses, thereby making sure that he himself would be called to the stand.
Season 2:
In a flashback, Tom is revealed to have met one of the murder victims along with Marcos Pena, while visiting a real estate broker. Tom, Danny, and the broker discuss killing some of the members of their operation, including Hunter, leading to the murders that Julio is arrested for.
Billy sees one of his captors at Marisol’s victory celebration. Billy and Patty confront the broker and get him to flip. He tells Rashad enough to implicate Tom and Gabriel, as well as to throw suspicion on Claudia Quintero.
Season 3:
The episode began by showing Diana Blackwoods’s brutality as she killed Littlecrow. She did this in front of her son Anton, who she was then forced to dispose of the body. She was confronted by Littlecrow’s daughter Stephanie in her office over what happened to her father.
At the end of the episode, Diana began to enact her revenge on those who sought to topple her. After she poisoned Wade’s drink, she confronted Billy in a rain-soaked car park with a shotgun. She shot him and left him for dead, bleeding out on the road.
