- Maryville, Missouri- Maryville, Missouri is the home of Northwest Missouri State University, annually holds a parade sponsored by The Palms Bar and Grill that has been recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the Shortest Saint Patrick’s Day parade.
- New York City– In New York City St. Patrick’s Day Parade is not only has become the largest Saint Patrick’s Day parade in the world but is also one of the oldest civilian parades in the world. 150,000 marchers participate in it, including bands, firefighters, military and police groups, county associations, emigrant societies, and social and cultural clubs with two million spectators lining the streets. The parade marches up the 1.5-mile route.
- San Diego, California– In San Diego’s 2015 St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival is the 35th Anniversary of the largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade west of the Mississippi. Lasting two hours and featuring over 120 entries, the theme for the day is “Celebrating Faith and Freedom” as designated by the Irish Congress of Southern California (ICSC).
