Synopsis
Jess Valenzuela is grieving the loss of her mother. She does not know her father – who died when she was young – but was always told that he was a reckless, no-good thief. His life is turned upside down when a mysterious stranger gives him a clue to a centuries-old treasure – that may be linked to his father.
Jess specializes in solving puzzles, and her skills are put to the test as she and her friends follow a series of clues hidden in American artifacts and landmarks.

Trailer Explained
In National Treasure: Edge of History trailer begins with Harvey Keitel’s Sadsky teaching Jess about her family history, telling her she doesn’t know the truth about where she comes from. If you remember, Sadusky was an important character in the National Treasure movies.
In the first film, he was a federal agent trying to track down and arrest Cage’s, Benjamin Franklin Gates. Now, he’s more interested in helping the main characters instead of hunting them.

I loved this show! It shows a character being brutally stabbed towards the end, leading to puddles of blood and seeing the wound, there is also guns and shows mild violence at the very beginning. The main character, Jess, -Mexican- is a great inspiring role model, and her friend group is very diverse (African American and Malaysian backgrounds). In terms of sexual content, it has making out, and characters sleeping together at each others houses and 2 scenes where girls are kissing boys on the cheek so i think the sexual side is a bit mild. Agent Ross was my fav.
