R. Kelly Engaged To Alleged Victim Joycelyn Savage After Being Sentenced To 30 Years In Prison

R. Kelly is facing charges of racketeering, bribery, coercion, enticement, and sex trafficking across several levels. In Illinois, he’s been hit with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse over incidents that allegedly took place between 1998 and 2010 and involved four sufferers, three of whom were minor.

Each of these counts carries a sentence of three to seven years. R. Kelly is also facing sex-related charges in Minnesota, which, like his other alleged crimes, he has asserted not guilty. Kelly is being accused of abusing Aaliyah while they were married before she died in August 2001 at age 22 in a plane crash.

And now when he is sentenced to prison for 30 years, one of his alleged victims, Joycelyn Savage, says they’re engaged.

She writes a letter to the majesty in which she denies all the allegations. Along with claiming to be engaged to R. Kelly, Joycelyn told the court she was “not the victim that the government has portrayed me to be” and that her relationship with the disgraced singer was “amazing.”

She ended her letter by saying “We have a very special connection and are deeply in love”. I still support Robert to this day because I love him and will always be here to support him”. and request the court to take her words into consideration.
