On Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi Teaser Trailer
Obi-Wan Kenobi is one of the many Star Wars showdowns currently going in progress, and it has its first official footage.
Darth Vader is also coming back, and Hayden Christiansen is training to return to the pavilion with a small glimpse of the recent Star Wars Showcase.
On Disney Plus day, this first was considered as an upcoming project. This video is mostly an interview with Obi-Wan himself.
In This video, Ewan McGregor gushes about his excitement for the show and Star Wars in general. McGregor says that he’s especially excited to be reunited with his prequel co-star Hayden Christensen who will return to his role as Darth Vader. During this interview, the trailer cuts to a few concept art pieces that don’t reveal much about the show but do look great.
We also get to see Christensen training for a lightsaber battle — as a welcome promise with the announcement of Star wars this venture.
The rest of the series’ cast is full of stars, and this already star-studded cast list also includes O’Shea Jackson Jr. from Long Shot, Sung Kang from Fast Five, Kumail Nanjiani from Eternals, and fast but not the least Benny Safdie Good Time.
The Star Wars series has faced quite a bit of production Hustle in the time since it was first reported in the year 2019, and just after that, the show was put on hold and got retooled into something a little bit different.
We got this news from Disney that the series began production in April 2021, with Deborah Chow from the Mandalorian, Better Call Saul, directing each episode.
Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi Release Date
Obi-Wan Kenobi will be released sometime next year (2022) on Disney Plus. The upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi TV show, due to arrive on the streaming service sometime in 2021, And thanks to Disney Plus Day, That we get a chance to see the valuable first official look at the offering of this show.
The teaser is only one minute and 16 seconds, but it features the imagery of director Deborah Chow and Obi-Wan himself, AKA Ewan McGregor. And that’s enough for raising the excitement level of all the fans for the series.

However, Disney’s decision to give it a theatrical release after Solo’s commercial failure meant that it didn’t happen. In 2019, during the D23 event, we got confirmation that Ewan McGregor was returning and that Obi-Wan was heading to Disney Plus.
But while we haven’t yet seen any actual footage of the show, the concept art started revealing a few things about this upcoming series. Such as Darth Vader will appear, and that both he and Obi-Wan will have some rematch.
Similarly, it was confirmed once and for all that Hayden Christensen’s involvement will see him suit up as Vader, rather than simply playing Anakin in some flashback.
Honestly, I’m desperately waiting to see more. And I hope that we don’t have to wait too long for a proper trailer to reach us.
Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi is, according to Disney Plus, It is set 10 years after the Revenge of the Sith, and it is also said to be nine years before A New Hope. This series will consist of six episodes in total. As per reports, this will air on Disney Plus in 2022.
