The Impossible (Lo impossible) is an English-language Spanish disaster drama film directed by J. A. Bayona. It is based on the experience of María Belón and her family in the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami.
The film is produced by Álvaro Augustin, Belén Atienza, Enrique López Lavigne and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, Lionsgate. However, the production companies are Apaches Entertainment, Telecinco Cinema, Canal+.
