The Sound of Violet Official Synopsis
The story is about Shawn who was desperate to find a wife, but he’s shy and awkward on dates despite the fact that he works at a dating app but still can’t find his soulmate. He went to a party with his brother and meet Violet. Shawn’s autism keeps him from knowing that Violet is a prostitute.
On their dates, she realizes something is different about Shawn. He has a condition that allows him to hear colors. He finally asks what she does for a living, she said she is an actress.
Shawn and Violet started spending time together and she experience different feelings from him she’s never felt before, waiting outside with innocent encouragement as Violet auditions. but soon his family gets involved and stated questing Violet’s background.
Shawn thinks he’s found his soulmate, while Violet thinks she’s found her ticket to a brand-new life. but the realities of Violet’s life soon begin to put an effect on their relationship. Based on the award-winning novel.
