This is the third film in “The Strangers” franchise and the first installment of a new trilogy of standalone sequel films in Bertino’s The Strangers series.
The Strangers: Chapter 1 follows the same continuity as the first two films.

Synopsis
Maya and Ryan are driving to their new home in the Pacific Northwest. But their car stops working in Venus, Oregon.
They have to stay in an Airbnb there. But it’s not a normal night. Three scary people with masks come to their house.
Maya and Ryan are very scared. They have to survive the night with these dangerous strangers.
