Artis Leon Ivey Jr. known professionally as Coolio, Artis Leon Ivey Jr was an American rapper, actor, and record producer. He is also known for having provided the opening track “Aw, Here It Goes!” for the 1996 Nickelodeon television series Kenan & Kel.

Noted to current information the famous American Coolio full name “Artis Leon Ivey Jr” died at the age of 59. He gives a hit film name Gangsta’s Paradise and gives many music albums through the album of  Gangsta’s Paradise film he wins a Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance.

The rapper Coolio (Artis Leon Ivey Jr.) died unexpectedly while visiting a friend in Los Angeles, his friend confirmed on Wednesday, September 28.

The manager of Rapper Coolio, says when Rapper had excused himself to go to the bathroom and when he did not return, then his partner went to investigate. Coolio’s friend opened up the door and put in place the rapper lying on the bathroom floor. Manager’s name is Jarez.

When the Paramedics were called, they tried reviving him they found the Rapper has died at the scene around 5 pm. The reason for death is not confirmed yet. The investigation into his death has started now.

According to TMZ, no foul play is expected yet.

Coolio’s Career and personal life

Artis Leon Ivey Jr. was born in Monessen, Pennsylvania, on August 1, 1963, and later moved to Compton, California. At the time when he attended Compton Community College, he worked in jobs like volunteer firefighting and security in Los Angel’s Airpot before becoming a rapper.

At the starting time of his career, he was even featured on KDAY Los Angeles, a rap-focused radio station, and during that released his first single, “Watcha Gonna Do”. After singing the song “You’re Gonna Miss Me” although it did not do much after that he made connections in the rap world and signed with Tommy Boy.

He released his debut album, It Takes a Thief, which included the single “Fantastic Voyage”. He is married to his ex-wife named Josefa Salinas since 1996 and in 2000 and they have 4 children together. He was in a  relationship with Mimi and they appeared on a 2013 episode of Celebrity Wife Swap.
