Marvel Studios is set to bring its new upcoming superhero film that is directed by a well-known filmmaker S.J. Clarkson who is known for The Defenders in 2017, Life on Mars in 2006, and Jessica Jones in 2015.
Madame Web is the fifth installment in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe (SSU), based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name.
The film’s screenplay is written by the duo of Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama, who previously wrote a fellow SSU entry, Morbius, Matt Sazama, and Burk Sharpless.
The upcoming film is produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, with executive producer Adam Merims and development executive Palak Patel.
