After a long-awaited wait, Top Gun: Maverick is all set to release. After its May 25 premiere, IMAX has now officially announced that the movie sequel will be released in 755 IMAX theaters in 71 territories next week.
Considering the fact that the film is developed primarily for the IMAX screen, it has been decided to release the film in as many as 755 IMAX theaters.

It is believed that the movie consists of nearly an hour of footage that was filmed in IMAX’s Expanded Aspect Ratio, This means the viewers will only get to see 26% more of the picture during select sequences throughout the film.
In this movie, Tom Cruise will be seen returning to his role as the titular Maverick from the 1986 film. It is set at a time when ace pilots teach the next generation of Top Gun pilots. These next-generation pilots include Miles Teller as Lt. Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw, the son of Nick “Goose” Bradshaw, Anthony Edwards’ character from the original, and Maverick’s late copilot.
The movie also includes Val Kilmer as Tom “Iceman” Kazansky, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Ed Harris, Glen Powell, Lewis Pullman, Monica Barbaro, Charles Parnell, Danny Ramirez, Manny Jacinto, Bashir Salahuddin, Jay Ellis, Jake Picking, Raymond Lee, and Jean Louisa Kelly. It is officially distributed by Paramount Pictures.
