Enough for a basketball team! NBA legend Scottie Pippen is blessed with eight children over the years, and he recently shares photos of his big brood. Scottie Pippen started his family in 1987 when his then-girlfriend Karen McCollum gave birth to their first child together, Antron Pippen.
The couple tied the knot one year later, but their relationship was short-lived, and divorced in the year 1990. In April 2021 Scottie Pippen announced that his son Antron died at the age of 33.
He said that he is very heartbroken to share that yesterday, he said goodbye to his firstborn son Antron. The two of us shared a love for basketball and we had endless talks about the game,” the former Chicago Bulls player shared through social media at the time.
“Antron was suffering from chronic asthma and if he hadn’t had asthma, he believe that his son would have made it to the NBA. He never let him down, Antron stayed positive and worked hard, and he is very proud of the man that he became.”
In the year 1994, Scottie and Sonya Roby were blessed with two children Taylor and Tyler. However, twin of Taylor (Tyler) died nine days after her birth.
In 1995, Scottie Pippen was blessed with a daughter Sierra with then-fiancée Yvette De Leon, and after two years he tied the knot with Larsa Pippen, with whom he welcome Scotty Jr. in born 2000, Preston born in 2002, Justin born in 2005, and a daughter Sophia born in 2008.
